Aims of the Garden Club of Ancaster:

To follow and uphold all the aims of the Garden Clubs of Ontario of which our Club is a member.

  • To welcome new membership and encourage development of our members’ goals and interests by providing opportunities for field trips, speakers, workshops, and teaching/learning events.
  • To provide encouragement in the community for the beautification and preservation of its natural and developed parklands, community areas, wildlife, and plants by our own efforts, projects and fundraising.
  • To provide for a scholarship/bursary for Niagara College,           annually given by our membership to a deserving student of the college.
  • Each August, the Ancaster Garden Club gives a $25 Award to the First Place  Miniature entry at the Ancaster Horticulture Club’s Flower & Vegetable Show.

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, except July and August.
Our club President is Betty Way. Contact Betty's email
Fundraisers, speakers, field trips, and teaching events are planned by our members per the interests of the membership.
